Referral Program Terms

These Referral Program Terms ("Referral Terms") describe the conditions under which RequestIn offers cash rewards to eligible bands who refer other bands to the RequestIn platform. By participating in the Referral Program, you agree to these Referral Terms as well as the RequestIn Terms of Service.

1) Program Description

The RequestIn Referral Program allows eligible bands to earn a cash reward by referring other bands to create an account on the RequestIn platform using a unique referral code.

2) Eligibility

To participate as a referrer, you must:

• Have an active account on RequestIn;
• Be at least 18 years of age; and
• Be a legal resident of the United States.

A band may not refer themselves or create additional accounts for the purpose of earning a referral reward. Employees, officers, and agents of RequestIn are not eligible.

3) How It Works

Eligible bands may share their unique referral code with other bands. When a new band creates a RequestIn account using that referral code, the referring band becomes eligible to earn a reward if the conditions in Section 4 are met.

Referral codes may be found in your account settings. When publicly promoting RequestIn using your referral code, you must clearly disclose that you may receive a cash reward if a referred band qualifies, as required by the FTC Endorsement Guides, 16 C.F.R. Part 255, including the material-connection disclosure guidance in 16 C.F.R. § 255.5.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any public promotion using your referral code includes all disclosures required by applicable law, including the FTC Endorsement Guides. RequestIn may deny referral rewards, suspend referral privileges, or terminate participation in the Referral Program if we determine that a required disclosure was omitted or misleading.

4) Reward

Amount: $40.00 USD

Payout Method: The user may contact RequestIn to arrange preferred payout method.

Qualifying Threshold: The reward is earned when the referred band receives one hundred (100) or more qualifying paid song requests or tips, each with a customer-selected request or tip amount of $20.00 or more, within four (4) calendar months of the referred band's RequestIn account creation date. Processing fees and foreign-transaction deductions do not disqualify an otherwise eligible transaction.

Payment Timeline: Rewards are processed within thirty (30) days of the qualifying threshold being confirmed.

The reward is earned once per referred account. If the referred band does not meet the threshold within the four-month window, no reward is issued for that referral.

5) Limitations and Restrictions

• One reward per referred account. You may earn one $40 reward for each unique band you refer who meets the qualifying threshold.
• Eligible transactions. Refunded, reversed, voided, denied, or failed transactions do not qualify.
• No self-referral. You may not refer yourself or create additional accounts to generate referral rewards.
• Non-transferable. Referral rewards cannot be transferred, gifted, or exchanged for other forms of compensation.
• Fraud and abuse. RequestIn reserves the right to withhold or reverse a referral reward if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the referral was obtained through fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive means.
• Compelled participation is not eligible for referral rewards. A referral reward is available only when the referred band voluntarily creates and uses a Requestin account. If you require, pressure, or condition a booking opportunity, performance opportunity, service, benefit, or business relationship on a band creating a RequestIn account, using RequestIn, or using your referral code, that referral is not eligible for a reward. Requestin may deny or reverse any reward associated with compelled participation.

6) Tax Responsibility

The referring band is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on any referral reward received. RequestIn may be required to collect tax information and issue tax forms (such as a Form 1099) for rewards that meet applicable reporting thresholds. Failure to provide accurate tax information may result in withholding of the reward.

7) Modifications and Termination

RequestIn reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program at any time. Rewards already earned and confirmed prior to termination will be honored. RequestIn may modify these Referral Terms at any time; continued participation after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8) Governing Law

These Referral Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any disputes arising from the Referral Program will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee.
